If your production needs have outpaced a manual jig, look to the Kreg Foreman Pocket Machine to handle the job. This compact, semi-automatic machine creates the same round-sided hole as the manual Kreg Jig in a fraction of the time. To operate, simply position your material to be drilled and pull the lever forward. This motion activates the 3/4 HP drill motor and engages the clamping cylinder. Finish the drill stroke by continuing to pull on the lever and then return the lever to the home position. Hinge-top design allows easy access to the drill bit, drill guide and motor. Fence has two floating stops. 6-3/4" tabletop height. Includes bit.

I bought this a few years ago and have enjoyed increased productivity with it. However, the bushing around the motor mount shredded and it was unusable. I emailed Kreg and asked how I could purchase a replacement part. They replied that the part was a problem that had been improved in subsequent models. They took my address and shipped me an entire new motor and guide plate free of charge. That is the kind of customer service I wish all companies had. The tool is fantastic and now I know the company is too.

I own this tool and have used it in a home shop (very light duty) for a couple of years. The welds that connect the lever arm to the actuator rod cracked. I contacted Kreg and was told I had to purchase a new actuator arm. I was expecting better service from Kreg and have been happy with their other products. I ended up repairing the unit myself thanks to a welder friend but was disappointed in Kreg Tools support and my opinion of the company has been lowered a notch.

I purchased the Kreg DB110 Foreman from amazon.com in September of 2006. It has worked flawlessly until this Saturday when a part on the arm broke.
This morning I called Kreg Tools and they are sending me a new arm for no cost.
This is a great tool which is supported by a company that actually backs its products. I am impressed. What could be better?

Great machine for production work. I have stopped using biscuits on my miters and switched to pocket screws, joints hold tite even with changes in humidity. Item would have received 5 stars but I had to add spacer block on arm that activates switch in back of unit.
